About

Welcome to the Inclusive Camp Hub, where we champion accessible and inclusive learning experiences for all children. Supported by the Ministry of Seniors and Accessibility and Located at Western University’s Faculty of Education, the Inclusive Camp Hub develops and disseminates free, engaging online resources about evidence-based practices to support the inclusion of all students in Camp. These resources, designed to bridge the research-to-practice gap, are intended for use by camp staff and administrators.

At the heart of our mission is Dr. Nicole Neil, a distinguished leader in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). Dr. Neil is an Associate Professor and Associate Dean of Research at Western University’s Faculty of Education. As a Registered Behaviour Analyst and Board Certified Behaviour Analyst®, she has dedicated her career to developing and implementing interventions that support individuals with developmental disabilities.

Dr. Neil is the developer of the S³ Camp (Science, STEM, and Social Skills), which she co-led with Dr. Anton Puvirajah. This inclusive camp provides children, both with and without intellectual or developmental disabilities, a safe space to explore STEM activities while fostering social skills and disability awareness. The camp’s flexible approach allows children to pursue their interests, such as robotics, in a supportive environment that encourages friendship and learning.

Under Dr. Neil’s leadership and developed in collaboration with nationally recognized researchers and education experts, the Inclusive Camp Hub offers free online resources that that empower children of all abilities, ensuring they have the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive in an inclusive environment.
